Ink machines: why we don’t support them

On a daily basis, we get a lot of inquiries for ink machines to be repaired or serviced. The most common of these is the HP OfficeJet & Canon Pixma range.

The reason for this is that small “home” printers are not supported by the manufacturer with parts or repairing/servicing due to the cost of replacement. These machines are generally uneconomical to repair as the cost of an engineer is greater than the cost of replacing the printer.

Here is a list of the ranges we are unable to support:

  • Canon Pixma range
  • Canon Maxify range
  • HP OfficeJet range
  • HP DeskJet range
  • HP Envy range
  • HP PhotoSmart range
  • Epson Expression range
  • Epson Expression Photo range
  • Epson WorkForce range
  • Brother DCP-J range
  • Brother MFC-J range
  • Ricoh SG range

Hope is not lost! Below are some options you may wish to consider:

  • If the machine is within the manufacturers warranty period you can speak to them directly
  • Replacing the machine from as little as £30.00 from online vendors
  • Upgrading to a business laser machine

If you would like to discuss upgrading your machine to a business laser model or require any further information, call one of our sales specialists on 0800 142 2737 or click here to email.

Please note we do cover wide format plotters which include the HP DesignJet and Image Canon imagePROGRAF. These machine are supported by Temple Knight with service, repairs and maintenance.
